Bulk edit Etsy listings
Select the listings, choose what changes, and every selected listing gets it. SpeedList syncs your shop through the official Etsy API, so the listings you edit are your real listings, and the changes go back the same way.
What you can change in one go
- Titles and descriptions: add text before or after, find and replace, delete a phrase, or set the whole field.
- Tags and materials: add, remove or replace the full set. Duplicates and tags over 20 characters are cleaned up before anything is published.
- Prices: set a price, or raise and lower by an amount or a percent, with rounding to .99, .95 or .00.
- Quantity, SKU (including find and replace inside SKUs), section, shipping profile, return policy and category.
- Photos and videos: add at the front or the back, remove by position, swap two positions, or clear them.
- Who made it, when it was made, supply or finished item, renewal, personalization, weight and dimensions, processing time, variations and attributes.
How it works
- 1Sync your shop. Your listings, sections, shipping profiles and inventory come in through the Etsy API.
- 2Select listings in Studio, In progress or a project, or filter first and select all.
- 3Pick the changes. Each listing is updated in place so you can open any of them and see the result before it is saved to Etsy.
- 4Publish. Changes go to Etsy as drafts or straight to live, your choice, and the rest of each listing stays exactly as it was.
Etsy’s built-in bulk editing, and what it leaves out
Etsy’s Shop Manager lets you change prices, quantities, tags, sections, renewal and shipping profiles for several listings at a time. It does not do find and replace in titles or descriptions, it cannot add a photo to every listing or reorder photos across a batch, and it has no templates. Those are the edits sellers end up doing one listing at a time, and they are the ones SpeedList was built for.
Nothing else on the listing moves
A bulk edit touches the fields you chose and only those. Variations, stock and SKUs round-trip through Etsy’s inventory endpoint unchanged unless you edited them, so a price change on 200 listings does not reshuffle stock or drop a variation.
Questions
- Do bulk edits publish immediately?
- No. Edits are saved in SpeedList first and the listings are marked as changed. You publish when you are ready, and you choose whether they go live or land in your Etsy drafts.
- Is there a limit on how many listings I can edit at once?
- Select as many as you like. Publishing runs as a background job that respects Etsy’s rate limits, so a big batch keeps going even if you close the tab.
- Does bulk editing cost Etsy listing fees?
- Editing an active listing does not cost a listing fee. Publishing a new listing does ($0.20 on Etsy), the same as publishing it from Etsy itself.
- Can I undo a bulk edit?
- Before publishing, discard the changes and the listing goes back to its Etsy version. After publishing, run another bulk edit to change it back.
