Etsy listing generator

A listing is a title, 13 tags, a description, a category with its attributes, a price, shipping and photos. SpeedList writes the text parts from the photo. You fill in the rest once, or let a template do it, and it publishes to your shop through the official Etsy API.

What one photo turns into

  • A title of up to 140 characters, with the strongest phrase first.
  • 13 tags, each 20 characters or fewer, written as the phrases buyers type.
  • A description in plain sentences: what it is, what it is made of, who it is for, how it is used.
  • The attributes for the Etsy category you choose, such as colour, material or occasion, so Etsy can filter the listing in.

How it works

  1. 1Add photos. Drag them in, or point SpeedList at a Google Drive folder.
  2. 2Generate. The title, tags, description and attributes are written from the photo. A single listing takes a few seconds; a batch runs in the background.
  3. 3Finish the listing. Set the price, quantity, shipping profile and section, or apply a template that holds all of them.
  4. 4Publish. As a draft to review on Etsy, or live.

Many listings at once

Bulk create makes one listing per photo, or groups several photos into one listing. A folder of 60 product photos becomes 60 listings with their own text, and one template gives them all the same category, shipping, variations and pricing. Then you read through them in the editor, fix what needs fixing, and publish the batch.

Written for your product, not from a list

The text comes from what is in the photo: the product, its material and colour, the style, the likely buyer and occasion. A linen table runner and a 4th of July tank top get nothing in common. If a result is off, change the words, or generate again for a fresh read of the photo.

A real listing, not a text box

Everything lands in Etsy’s own fields: the title checked against 140 characters, each tag against 20, the symbols Etsy rejects removed, the attributes matched to the category. Publishing sends it through the Etsy API as a draft or a live listing, with the photos uploaded in order. Nothing goes to Etsy until you press Publish.

Existing listings too

Connect your shop and its listings sync in. Open one, generate, and the new title, tags and description replace the old ones in SpeedList. Publish when you like the result. Listings you do not touch stay exactly as they are on Etsy.

What it costs

One generation writes the title, tags, description and attributes for one listing. The Free plan includes 10 generations a month and one shop, with the editor, bulk tools, CSV upload and publishing included. Starter has 300 a month, Pro 4,000 with unlimited shops.

Questions

Is the Etsy listing generator free?
The Free plan includes 10 generations a month, with no card to enter. Paid plans add more generations.
What if a photo shows more than one product?
Group the photos that belong to one listing before generating, so the text describes the right item. Bulk create lets you choose one listing per photo or one per group.
Can I edit what it writes?
Yes. Every field is editable in the listing editor before you publish, and bulk edit can change many listings at once.
Does it need my Etsy shop connected?
No. You can make listings in Studio first and connect a shop when you are ready to publish.
