1. Information We Collect

When you use SpeedList, we may collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: Your email address, name, and profile information when you register via Google Authentication.
  • Usage Data: Google Drive URLs you connect, product images processed, and generated listing content (titles and tags).
  • Billing Information: Processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full credit card details on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data strictly to provide, maintain, and improve our services. Specifically, we use your product pictures to generate shareable links and thumbnails for exporting to third-party marketplaces (like Etsy) and CSV files.

We may also retain and analyze data (including after a user has deleted their account or project) to assess our internal workflows, track usage metrics, and improve our AI generation models over time.

3. Sharing with Third Parties

In order to provide our service, we must share certain data with trusted third-party providers:

  • AI Providers: Your product images and custom instructions are sent to our AI partners (e.g., Google, OpenAI) for processing and content generation.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Your data is stored securely using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Firebase.
  • Payment Processors: We share necessary billing information with Stripe to handle subscription payments securely.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your projects or account at any time through our dashboard. However, as noted above, we may retain certain anonymized or aggregated data—including project metadata and usage patterns—after deletion in order to assess our internal workflow, fulfill legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We may or may not notify you of these changes, but it is entirely your responsibility to read and review this page periodically. By using our app, logging in, or signing up, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the current Privacy Policy.
