Etsy listing photos: sizes, count and order

The limits

• Up to 10 photos per listing.
• One video per listing, 5 to 15 seconds, up to 100 MB. Etsy plays it without sound.
• Etsy recommends at least 2000 pixels on the shortest side so zoom works. JPG, PNG and GIF are accepted.
• The first photo is the thumbnail everywhere: search, your shop, favourites. Search crops it to a landscape card, so keep the product centred.

An order that works

1. 1Product on a clean background, the whole item visible.
2. 2In use or in context: worn, on a table, in a room.
3. 3Detail or texture close-up.
4. 4Scale: next to a hand or a familiar object.
5. 5Options: colours, sizes, packaging.
6. 6Size chart or care card as the last photo.

Consistency across the shop

Shops look put together when every listing follows the same photo order and shares the same size chart or branding card. That is a bulk edit: add a photo at the front or back of every selected listing, remove the photo in position 7 everywhere, or swap positions 1 and 2 across a batch. SpeedList uploads photos to Etsy through the API, so the change reaches every listing without opening each one.

Photos from Google Drive

If your photos live in a Drive folder, point bulk create at the folder: each file becomes a listing, and the folder link and original file names stay with the listing in SpeedList so you can always trace a batch back to its source.
