How digital listings work on Etsy

• Up to 5 files per listing, 20 MB each. Etsy delivers them after payment as an instant download.
• No shipping profile and no processing time. The listing is marked digital, and Etsy hides the shipping fields.
• Everything else is the same: title, 13 tags, description, category, price, and the $0.20 listing fee.
• The photos are the preview. Most sellers show the design, a mockup of it in use, and a sheet with the sizes and file types.

Making one

3. 3Add the price and the category, or apply a template that holds them.
4. 4Publish as a draft to check the download on Etsy, or live.

Making many

Bulk create takes a folder of previews and makes a listing per image. One template sets the category, the price, the renewal option and the tags you always use, such as the file type and instant download. A CSV import does the same from a spreadsheet, with the Digital file columns holding links to the files. Then the batch publishes together.

Tags and titles for downloads

Buyers search for the use and the format: printable wall art, wedding invitation template, svg bundle, instant download. The generator writes the product phrase first and includes the format when the preview shows it. Put the file types in the tags and in the first line of the description, since buyers check that before they buy.

Existing digital listings

Sync your shop and the digital listings come in with their text, previews and settings. Regenerate a title, add a tag to all of them, or change prices by a percent in bulk, then publish. The files already on Etsy stay as they are.
