Print on demand listings for Etsy
Print on demand is a volume business. One design becomes a shirt, a hoodie, a mug and a tote, each with its own listing, its own variation grid and its own photos. SpeedList makes the listing side fast: mockups in, listings out, one template per product type, and one publish for the batch.
From mockups to listings
- 1Export the mockups from your provider or mockup tool into a folder, or a Google Drive folder.
- 2Bulk create from the folder: one listing per mockup, or group the mockups of one design into one listing.
- 3The title, 13 tags, description and attributes are written from each mockup: the design, the product type, the occasion.
- 4Apply the template for that product type and publish.
One template per product type
A shirt template holds the category, the size and colour variations with their prices, the shipping profile, the processing time, the weight and the size chart photo. Apply it to 40 new shirt listings and all 40 are complete. Each listing keeps its own SKU, so the variation grid does not end up sharing one code across designs. A mug template, a hoodie template and a tote template do the same for the rest.
Pricing and changes across the catalogue
When a provider raises its base price, select every listing of that product type and raise prices by an amount or a percent, rounded to .99. Add a seasonal tag to all of them in December and remove it in January. Replace the size chart on every shirt with one bulk edit on photos. Each change publishes to Etsy in one batch.
Keeping the shop consistent
Image collections hold the photos every listing of a kind should carry: the size chart, the care card, the shop banner. The create flows attach them to new listings, and bulk edit adds them at the front or the back of existing ones. Sections and shipping profiles are set in bulk, so a new batch lands in the right place from the first day.
Where fulfilment stays
SpeedList makes and publishes the listings. Fulfilment stays with your print provider, and the way a provider links a listing it did not create varies, so check its instructions for connecting existing Etsy listings before you publish a large batch. For the writing, pricing and bulk changes on listings that already exist, nothing changes: sync the shop and edit.
Questions
- Does SpeedList connect to Printify or Printful?
- No. It connects to Etsy. Your provider keeps handling production and shipping.
- Can I make one listing with several mockups?
- Yes. Group the photos of a design and bulk create makes one listing with all of them, in the order you set.
- How do variations get their prices?
- From the template: each size and colour option carries a price and quantity. Change the template and apply it again when the prices change, or use a bulk price change.
